Rs 20 Lakh penalty for PG degree, Rs 10 lakh for Diploma: Telangana Bond service policy for PG medical admissions 2024
Telangana- Postgraduate medical aspirants joining Diploma and Degree courses in the medical colleges under Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) will have to execute a bond of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh at the time of admission.
After completion of the course, all the PG medical students will have to serve the Government of Telangana for one year as per the Government Regulations at the time of the admission and in this regard, they will have to submit a bond while taking admission into the PG Degree and Diploma courses.
All postgraduates (excluding in-service candidates) shal serve the Government of Telangana, if necessary, in Government institutions for a period of one year as per the orders of the State Government. A bond of Rs.10,00,000 (Rupees ten lakhs only) on admission into postgraduate diploma course and Rs.20,00,000(Rupees twenty lakhs only) on admission into postgraduate degree course shall be executed by candidates at the time of admission, stated the GO
All the candidates joining the Postgraduate degree or diploma course should execute a bond on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/- value to ensure undertaking to complete the prescribed period of training. In case of default, such candidate shall pay an amount of Rs 20,00,000 to Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS).
The HM&FW of Telangana Medical Education Department has begun the admissions to Postgraduate Degree and Diploma Courses in various broad specialities for the academic year 2024-25. In this regard, the HM&FW Department has issued a Government Order (GO), detailing the bond details for Postgraduate degree or diploma course admissions this year.
As per the GO, the candidates shall submit the required bond and shall pay the college fees/ tuition fee at their respective colleges on or before the date fixed for the same. The GO, clearly mentions that the candidates who are selected for admission into PG courses under the Competent Authority Quota, Management Quota and All India Quota in the final phase of counselling including slid candidates (candidates who have joined in the previous phase of counselling) have to report for admission without fail to prevent wastage of seats and seat blocking. Otherwise, all such candidates will be debarred for three years for admission into the Postgraduate Medical Degree /Diploma course in the state of Telangana besides payment of Rs.20,00,000 towards forfeiture of the bond.
Further, if a candidate after allotment to the PG broad speciality course fails to pay the fees or after paying the fees fails to submit the bond and original certificates, the selection of such candidate shall stand cancelled automatically and the candidate will not be eligible for selection for the next phases of counselling.
