TN Health notifies on cancellation of Posting Orders For FMGs, details
Tamil Nadu: The Tamil Nadu DMER (TN Health) has informed the Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGE) about the cancellation of the recently issued posting orders.
As per the notice, the posting order issued on 11th January 2024 has been cancelled for certain administrative reasons. The revised allotment order will be sent shortly.
The notice read “It is informed that all posting orders regarding Foreign Medical Graduates released vide this office letter reference No. 002364/MEII/2/2024, dated: 11.01.2024 are hereby cancelled due to certain administrative reasons. The revised allotment order will be sent shortly”.
The FMGE candidates were asked to submit the original documents at the Ground Floor (Help Desk), 0/o the Director of Medical Education and Research from 08.12.2023 to 15.12.2023 for allotment to the CRMI Training.
The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination started in 2002. It is a licensing examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The examination is conducted for the Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and the Indian citizens who have pursued their primary medical education at a medical institution outside India but want to practice in India. All such licence-seeking candidates must qualify for this examination.
The Department of Health and Family Welfare of the State of Tamil Nadu is a department of the Government of Tamil Nadu responsible for ensuring access to basic public health services in Tamil Nadu. Its undertakings include the National Health Mission – Tamil Nadu, Tamil Nadu Medical Services Corporation, Medicinal Plant Farms and Herbal Medicine Corporation, and Transplant Authority of Tamil Nadu. It is headquartered in Chennai.
