UP DGME issues guidelines on appointment of NEET UG 2018 MBBS, BDS batch under Service Bond, releases list of 1908 students
Uttar Pradesh- Uttar Pradesh Director General of Medical Education (UPDGME) has issued guidelines regarding the employment of NEET UG 2018 (MBBS/BDS) batch under the Compulsory Government Service Bond. Additionally, UPDGME has also released a candidate list for the Compulsory Government Service Bond of NEET UG MBBS 2018 batch.
As per the notice, candidates of the NEET UG 2018 (MBBS/BDS) batch are being appointed through online counselling based on their All India Rank (AIR).
The general guidelines for the said counselling are as follows:
1 The counselling timetable will be displayed separately on the official websites of DGME.
2 The allotment of seats will be done through online counselling based on the AIR of the candidates, the category of the candidate and the choices filled by them in the counselling.
3 The benefit of reservation will be payable only to the reserved category candidates of Uttar Pradesh state. The benefit of reservation will not be admissible to candidates outside the state of Uttar Pradesh.
4 All certificates related to reservation will be valid only in the format issued by the competent authority and prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh Government. Meanwhile, reservation certificates in the format prescribed by the Government of India will not be valid.
5 The certificate of the Other Backward Class (OBC) category and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category will be valid from or after 01.4.2023.
6 To avail the benefit of reservation, it is mandatory to upload the reservation-related certificate at the time of registration. If the certificate related to reservation is not found relevant at the time of online verification or is not in the prescribed format, the benefit of reservation will not be provided to the concerned candidates and action will be taken to allot seats to such candidates under unreserved category.
7 At the time of counselling or after counselling, if it is found that a candidate has obtained allotment based on misleading/forged records and if it found then the allotment will be cancelled and further action will be taken by registering a case against him under relevant sections of the IPC.
8 If any candidate does not register in online counselling or does not participate in choice filling after registration or does not fill all the options after participating in choice filling, then such candidates will not be allotted seats out of the remaining seats after counselling. Based on the preference of colleges determined by the counselling board of the state Merit-based allocation will be provided based on his/her All India rank in the Government/Autonomous Medical College/Institute/Medical University, for which the entire responsibility will be of the concerned candidate.
Meanwhile, as per the student list for the Compulsory Government Service Bond of NEET UG MBBS 2018 batch, there are a total of 1908 candidates based on UR, ST and OBC categories. Additionally, there are a total of 15 colleges as per the list.
If any amendment/change is required in the details of the candidate mentioned in the list such as name, roll number, AIR, category and date of completion of internship then the candidate may request for amendment along with relevant evidence to the Directorate General of Medical Education & Training, Jawahar Bhawan, Lucknow on 05.04.2024 till 05:00 pm. However, applications/e-mails of the candidates after the due date will not be considered.
The change in the date of completion of the internship is possible for those candidates whose internship completion date has been extended by the college, UPDGME stated.
