UP DGME To Begin NEET PG, NEET MDS Round 2 Counselling From 25th August, details

Uttar Pradesh: Directorate General of Medical Education (UP DGME) is going to begin NEET PG and NEET MDS round 2 counselling from 25^th August 2023. The courses included are MD, MS, Diploma, DNB, and MDS. The details related to the round 1 seat resignation have also been released.

The detailed schedule –

Date of Declaration of Merit List	29^th August 2023
Date of Online Choice Filling	01^st September 2023 (From 11:00 AM) to 04th September 2023 (Till 11:00 AM)
Date of Declaration of result of seat allotment	05^th/6^th September 2023
Date for downloading allotment letters	08^th September 2023 to 12th September 2023
Date of the Admission Process	08^th,09^th September and 11^th,12^th September 2023

The candidates note that the session will start on 5^th September 2023.

Candidates registered during the first round of counselling are not required to register again. And those who are admitted in the first round of counselling are not required to deposit the security money again.

Candidates who have not been registered in the first round of counselling can participate in the second round of counselling by depositing the registration fee of Rs.3000. To participate in the counselling of MD/MS/Diploma, DNB and MDS courses, separate registration will be mandatory, and it will also be mandatory to deposit separate security money.

Candidates admitted in the first round of counselling are eligible for reshuffling in the second round of counselling. Such candidates who have been allotted a seat in the first round of counselling but have not reported or resigned from the admitted seat will be eligible for the second round of counselling after depositing the security money again.

Round 1 seat resignation –

The allotted candidates of round 1 who have taken admitted in the allotted seat and now want to resign from the allotted seats can resign up to 30^th August 2023 till 11:00 am. The security money of such candidates will be forfeited.
