AP: Mansukh Mandaviya says health care could become affordable with recruitment of more doctors and staff
Vizianagaram: Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has said that the Narendra Modi Government has been giving top priority to the improvement of medical infrastructure to ensure health and wellness for all citizens.
While addressing the Intellectuals meeting at Vizianagaram in Andhra Pradesh yesterday, the Minister said that health care could become affordable with the establishment of more and more hospitals and the recruitment of more doctors and staff.
The Union Minister, who reached Vizianagaram on a two-day visit, was accorded a rousing reception. While addressing the Intellectuals Meeting, Dr. Mandaviya said that the Union Government could handle the COVID-19 pandemic effectively while ensuring medicines for almost 150 countries.

He also stated that the Central Government was keen to ensure the progress of all the states and regions by implementing developmental activities and welfare schemes in a systematic way. The Union Minister is touring several pockets in Vizianagaram District today.
Mr. Mandaviya's efforts to build more medical colleges and hospitals in order to improve the medical facilities in India have been highly appreciated by Rajya Sabha member G.V.L. Narasimha Rao, BJP State president Somu Veerraju and MLC P.V.N. Madhav.
BJP senior leaders Kusumanchi Subbarao, Teegala Harinath, Baggam Rajesh, and others were present at the occasion.

Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has earlier said that India has emerged as the world's largest pharmacy and vaccine manufacturing country.
"Today, we are pharmacy of the World and India is also the largest vaccine manufacturing country. We've exported more than 17 crores of vaccine doses to over 100 countries. Vaccination drive is also moving forward in India," Mandaviya said during a press briefing on the announcement about the 7th edition of the India Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Conference 2022, which is being scheduled from April 25 to April 27 and this has been covered by Medical dialogues team.
