New Delhi: In a major step towards strengthening public health services in the capital, the Director General of Health Services (DGHS), Delhi, has been officially appointed to oversee the PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) and Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM) programmes under the National Health Mission (NHM).
Medical Dialogues had previously reported that the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi has achieved another significant milestone in healthcare by launching the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM- ABHIM), after the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of NCT, Delhi.
The move, aimed at improving efficiency and ensuring the timely execution of these health infrastructure projects, was confirmed through an official order issued on Wednesday, May 21, by the Special Secretary (Health and Family Welfare), Delhi.
