2 contractual workers arrested for alleged plot to kill UP's Bhadohi CHC superintendent
Bhadohi: Two health workers were arrested for allegedly plotting to kill the chief medical superintendent (CMS) of a Community Health Centre (CHC) in Bhanipur village of Bhadohi district, officials said on Wednesday.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Santosh Kumar Chak said the CMS was posted at the Bhanipur community health centre about a month ago. A week earlier, he had an altercation with two contractual workers, aged 39 and 51.

The CMS lodged a departmental complaint. An inquiry that was formed found the allegations against the two workers to be true, Chak said, reports PTI.
According to the police, the CMS filed a complaint on Tuesday alleging that the duo had conspired to kill him and submitted several audio clips in support of his claim.
One of the clips, which also circulated on social media, purportedly recorded a conversation between the two about a plan to have him killed in a road accident when he leaves the health centre, the police said.
Inspector Manoj Kumar said one of the accused was arrested from the Unj Police Station area, while the other was arrested from the Gyanpur area late Tuesday.
He said that the voice recordings submitted by the complainant would be sent for forensic examination and the accused persons' voice samples would be matched with them.
The CMO said the services of both contractual workers have been terminated.
Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that Alirajpur police have arrested a 33-year-old man for allegedly preparing a forged letter in the name of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to facilitate the transfer of an Ayush medical officer from the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Udaygarh to the facility in Sondwa. Superintendent of Police Raghuvansh Kumar Singh said Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr Rajesh Atulkar lodged a complaint after receiving a forged letter from an unidentified person on WhatsApp on July 21.
