Medical Dialogues had reported in August this year that an MBBS intern at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a shawl inside the bathroom of his hostel room.
A suicide note was recovered from the scene; however, the contents have not been disclosed by the police, making the reason behind the student taking the extreme step unclear. The student’s mobile phone has been seized for forensic and digital analysis.
