27-year-old Malayali doctor killed in road accident in Pune
Pune: In an unfortunate incident, a 27-year-old Malayali doctor was crushed to death after her two-wheeler was hit by a truck in Pimpri. The incident stirred social media as the appeal for justice went viral.
She was found dead after the road accident and the police identified her as Dr. Jaisa, a native of Mangaluru in Karnataka. The scene of the accident was gruesome and her two-wheeler scooty was completely crushed indicating the horrific death of Dr. Jaisa.
On September 13, like every other day, she went out to have her lunch. After having her lunch, she was heading back to her clinic. At that exact moment, a truck nearby hit and crushed her in the process. She, unfortunately, lost her life.

Following the accident, locals rushed to the scene and called the police. The police investigated the scene and sent her body for autopsy. Later her body was handed over to her family members. However, an investigation is underway to nab the suspect.
She was the daughter of John Thomas and Usha John of Mangaluru. Jay is her sibling. The family members kept her body at her house in Pune mourning her sudden demise and then were taken to Mangaluru via road. She was laid to rest on Wednesday afternoon at the cemetery of St Antony's Jacobite Syrian Cathedral at Jeppu in Mangaluru.
However, the incident went viral on social media. Netizens are demanding justice for Dr. Jaisa and conveyed their condolences to the friends and family members of Dr. Jaisa. The police said that they are investigating the case and soon the culprit will be nabbed, Naijaonpoint reports.
Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported that a 24-year-old trainee doctor had died and four others sustained injuries after their vehicle lost balance and fell down the road 60ft below, in Khiuri, Mandi.
