29 super specialty doctors to be recruited at Nizamabad Medical College soon
Nizamabad: With an aim to extend better healthcare facilities to the people in the Nizamabad region, around 29 super specialty doctors would be recruited to Nizamabad Government Medical College to provide super specialty services, announced Health Minister T Harish Rao.
The move is aimed at catering to the rising number of patients who visit the district government medical college hospital on a daily basis. The super specialty doctors would be recruited to various departments, said the minister.

The government is also planning to recruit specialised doctors at Mahabubnagar Government Medical College and Hospital. He said, "Telangana government will recruit 40 specialised doctors to work in various departments in Mahabubnagar Government Medical College and Hospital, in view of the patient inflow increasing."
Reflecting on the difficult situation for patients in the earlier times when they had to go to big cities for quality medical care, he said that the problem is getting resolved with the availability of a medical college and super specialty hospital services in every district, as per a recent media report in TNIE.
He said the government under Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao plans to bring one medical college in every district. "As part of this endeavour, the State government will soon open nine more medical colleges this year, in addition to the 17 such existing colleges," said the minister.
Pointing out the availability of medical seats to aspiring students, he said, "Through this, even students from financially backward backgrounds will be able to afford medical education. This is possible only in Telangana." Further, he added, "Telangana has become a role model for the country in the field of healthcare. Also, people’s trust in government hospitals has increased significantly."
