Agra: An FIR has been registered by the Agra police against a murder convict and his family members following a complaint by a 40-year-old doctor who alleged that she received ransom and death threat calls from the accused, who threatened to circulate the pictures of the doctor taken without her consent by sedating her drinks.
According to the complaint by the doctor, the accused identified as Sudhir Kumar Singh Bhadouria who is presently lodged in the Fatehgarh Central Jail, and his family members threatened her by saying that they would circulate her "objectionable photographs", and instead demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh, reports the India Today.

They threatened her of disclosing her pictures which were taken without her consent by sedating her drinks, if she failed to pay the ransom amount.
The police said that the doctor, and the brother of the accused, Mahesh Kumar Singh live in the same neighborhood, reports India Today. A police officer said, "In 2018, Mahesh invited the doctor to his home for a party where she was allegedly given a drink laced with sedatives. After she fell unconscious, Mahesh allegedly clicked objectionable photographs of her."
The doctor, along with her spouse, who is a doctor, runs a nursing home in the city.
The Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported a similar harassment incident where a compounder and her lover was arrested by the Mumbai crime branch for allegedly recording an intimate video of a doctor and her lover secretly by installing a spy camera inside the doctor's clinic. They threatened the doctor of posting their private videos on social media and of sending them to her family members if she refused to pay the money. They made a similar demand of ransom and asked her to pay an amount of Rs 5 lakhs.
