Anesthesiologist found dead in Hamirpur forest under mysterious circumstances

Hamirpur: In an unfortunate incident, an anesthesiologist posted at Dr Radhakrishnan Government Medical College and Hospital was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the forest of Pakka Bharo in the Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh.

When the Hamirpur police received information about a dead body lying in the woods, a forensic team was also called, following which the police and the forensic team went to the spot for investigation. In the presence of the police, the forensic team recovered many evidence from the spot.

In the preliminary investigation, it has been revealed that the police found a liquor bottle and syringe at the place where the body was recovered. It is being told that the doctor suddenly left his rented house in Hamirpur in the morning without reaching the hospital. When he was missing and his phone was unreachable, his relatives and friends started searching for him. Later, they found his body in the forest and contacted the police.

The police team recovered the car of the deceased doctor a short distance from the place where the dead body of the doctor was found. According to the information, the deceased doctor was a resident of Kandaghat under district Solan.

After the police reached the spot, they sent the dead body to the Medical College Hamirpur for post-mortem. Sanjeev Gautam, in charge of Sadar police station Hamirpur, informed News18, "The anesthesia doctor of Kandaghat under district Solan was serving in Hamirpur Medical College. The forensic team has collected evidence on the spot. The exact cause of death will be clear only after the post-mortem and forensic reports come."

A case has been registered by the police and an investigation is underway.
