Chhattisgarh doctor under scanner for filming female patient
Raipur: The Baradwar police in Chhattisgarh's Saket district have registered a case against a private hospital-based doctor for allegedly recording a non-consensual video of an official from the Chhattisgarh health department while she was changing her clothes.
The complainant has been identified as a technical assistant in the Chhattisgarh health department who alleged that the doctor secretly filmed her while changing her clothes.

The incident reportedly took place on 14th March 2023, and the complainant has filed multiple complaints at the police station since then.
The doctor had asked her to change her clothes before going to the operation theatre, during which the doctor secretly filmed her. The complainant had noticed a mobile phone before leaving the room.
A video of her changing clothes was found in the mobile phone when the complainant checked the phone, reports the Indian Express. The doctor eventually took the phone away from her.
The police had failed to register an FIR despite the complaint filed by the woman. However, the woman's spouse said, "After a phone call from the IG office, they registered a case on May 18."
Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported another incident about the termination of Chhattisgarh medical officers for negligence at work. The state health department terminated the services of 11 doctors for remaining absent for more than three years. The doctors had not given any prior intimation to the department head and they went on leave without sanctioning their leave days. The state government had decided to terminate the services of 11 medical officers for being absent for more than three years and conduct a departmental inquiry on those absent for less than three years and extend the period if they are on probation.
