Dental surgeon found dead, family accuses husband of Harassment

Hanamkonda: In an unfortunate incident, a dental surgeon working at a private hospital allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling at her residence at Hasanparthy in Hanamkonda district.
She is reported to have taken her life due to alleged mental harassment by her husband and his extramarital affair with a social media influencer. Her husband is a cardiologist and an assistant professor at Kakatiya Medical College.
While the police took her husband for questioning in connection with the case, her family members alleged that their daughter did not commit suicide; they suspect that she was murdered, as they found bleeding injuries on her body.
They alleged that her husband had harassed her, and the couple often argued over his affair with another woman. The family has demanded strict action against their deceased daughter's husband.

The incident took place on Monday when the surgeon was found dead at his residence. However, the police recovered no suicide note from the scene. Even though the police confirmed the case to be a suicide, her family members suspect foul play was involved.
Her father told Telangana Today that their daughter had married the doctor in 2017. He is an assistant professor at Kakatiya Medical College and also works at Medicover Hospital. The couple had two daughters.
He alleged that the doctor had been having an affair with a woman he met on Instagram and had started ignoring his family. He said this led to frequent fights between the couple.
He also claimed that their daughter was facing mental and physical abuse from her husband and in-laws. A day before the incident, her in-laws reportedly took the children to Cherla in Kothagudem, which raised further concerns. Adding to the suspicion, he said there were injury marks on her body and demanded a thorough investigation to rule out murder.
As a result, he filed a complaint against the doctor, and the police registered a case. They took the doctor for questioning, and an investigation about this is underway.
