Hisar: Producing a fake medical certificate in order to procure a job as a medical officer in the area has costed heavily for a doctor here, as the doctor has now been booked various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) including IPC 420
The Hisar police booked a medical officer working at a blood bank centre in Hisar for allegedly producing fake experience certificate.
A criminal case has been registered against the accused under sections 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property.), 467 (Forgery of valuable security, will, etc), 468 (Forgery for purpose of cheating) , 471 (Using as genuine a forged 1[document or electronic record]), 120-B (Punishment of criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code, and the police have begun investigations. The medical officer has been identified as one Dr Kaudiyal and was associated with a blood bank in the area

Based on the complaint filed by the Senior Drug Controller Raman Kumar Sheoran, the police registered a case against the medical officer. The complainant said that Dr Kaudiyal used to work as a Medical Officer at the blood bank. The police are yet to arrest the accused.
The complainant in his complaint stated that three months' experience of blood banking is mandatory for a Medical Officer. The experience certificate submitted by Dr. Kaudiyal on 10th June, 2022 showed that he used to work at a bloodbank in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh from February 3 to May 15, reports the Times of India.
The complainant Sheoran told the police, "The state drug controller sent this experience certificate to the food safety drug administration of Uttar Pradesh and as per their records, Dr Kaudiyal has not worked in RR Healthcare Blood Bank during the specific period. RR Healthcare Blood Center also said in its reply that they have not issued any experience certificate."
