Dr Kurapati Krishnaiah appointed as new CEO of Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital
Hyderabad: Dr Kurapati Krishnaiah took charge as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute (BIACH & RI) here on Tuesday.
A distinguished Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 40 years of experience, Dr Krishnaiah brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, having previously served as the CEO of the Mediciti Hospital, a hospital release said.
His appointment marks a significant milestone in the hospital's commitment to exceptional healthcare and pioneering research in the fight against cancer.

Dr Krishnaiah is widely recognized for his proficiency in Total Joint Replacements, Primary and Revision Complex Trauma, and advanced surgeries such as Interlocking Nailing. His commitment to ethical medical practices and the importance of compassion in healthcare aligns seamlessly with the values of Basavatarakam Hospital.
Welcoming Dr. Krishnaiah, BIACH & RI Chairman Nandamuri Balakrishna and trustees of Basavatarakam Hospital spoke of his leadership, citing his exceptional track record in elevating healthcare standards and fostering research collaborations.
His successful tenure as CEO at Mediciti Hospital showcased his prowess in overseeing academic and clinical activities in multi-specialty teaching hospitals, they said.

Trustees JSR Prasad, M Sri Bharat, Dr Nori Dattatreya & Dr P Raghava Rao along with senior leaders of BIACH & RI participated in the event.
