Further verification revealed that the accused had not pursued a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) beyond the school level. Authorities alleged that he used fabricated credentials to falsely present himself as a licensed dental professional, deceiving patients for years.
Speaking to TOI, police said he hails from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh and moved to Telangana 25 years ago. He initially stayed in Kagaznagar before shifting to Neredmet 15 years ago. He reportedly established the clinic about 14 years ago and operated it often during late-night hours.
Authorities confirmed that the accused had been charging consultation and treatment fees while falsely claiming professional expertise. His actions not only amounted to cheating but also posed a serious threat to public health.
A case has been registered against him under charges of cheating and illegal medical practice. Police officials stated that further investigation is underway to determine the full extent of his activities and identify potential victims.
