FIR against 3 SMS Hospital doctors for allegedly molesting colleague at workplace
Jaipur: An FIR has been filed against three doctors attached to SMS Hospital for allegedly sexually harassing their colleague, a 53-year-old woman doctor at workplace.
A case under Section 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the IPC has been filed against the trio including a senior doctor of the victim's department, a female doctor and a medical student undergoing post-graduation.
This comes after the the elderly woman doctor filed a complaint against the three of them alleging molestation through inappropriate touching and obscene gestures.
According to SHO, SMS Hospital police station, Navratan Dholia, the FIR was filed on Monday and the police are investigating the allegations made by the doctor.

As per the FIR, one of the accused is a woman doctor who allegedly insulted her due to personal animosity. Whereas, the two other men were responsible for alleged inappropriate touching, indecent gestures and remarks.
The doctor, in her complaint further alleged that she has been suffering the harassment for the past several months now. She added that the three doctors berated her when she complained about the same to the officials responsible, reports TOI.
The victim doctor has been working at the hospital for two decades now. She alleged that one of the doctors made indecent remarks about her personal life as well. As per the FIR, even though she attempted to resist the actions of the doctor, it all went in vain.
She reasoned that she had been facing molestation at the workplace for six months now.
