Former AIIMS dean, Dr VK Bahl joins Max Healthcare as Principal Director, Cardiac Sciences
New Delhi: Renowned Cardiologist and the former dean of AIIMS, New Delhi, Professor (Dr) VK Bahl, has recently joined Max Healthcare, New Delhi as the Principal Director of Cardiac Sciences. He recently superannuated from AIIMS, New Delhi with his tenure ending on 31st July, 2020.
In his new position, Dr Bahl will be associated with three Max Hospitals in the capital, that is Max Hospital, Vaishali, Max Hospital Patparganj as well as Max Hospital Saket.
Prof Bahl previously served as the Head of Cardiology and Center Chief of Cardio-thoracic Center at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He was appointed as the Dean (Academics) of AIIMS in June 2018. Dr. VK Bahl is a pioneer in Cardiology with many firsts to his credit. He has undertaken many complex cardiac interventions for the first time in India- retrograde BMV, multi-valvular interventions, leadless pacemaker to name a few.
