Gwalior-based Doctor kills live-in-partner, hangs her from ceiling fan
The doctor confessed to him when the police began interrogating him strictly. He reportedly told the police that his live-in partner, who is a nurse by profession identified as Sonam Yadav, and they both had a dispute over a WhatsApp chat. He lost his temper following that and killed her.
Gwalior: A doctor who has been accused of killing his live-in partner, who is a nurse, and hanging her from a ceiling fan in the Kumharpura locality within the Thatipur police station limits in Gwalior has been arrested, stated the police.
The Free Press Journal reports that the doctor identified as Sanjeev Sharma fled from the flat after killing her, said the police. He eventually returned to the flat and began creating a ruckus. The police then became suspicious of him and took him into the custody.

The doctor confessed to him when the police began interrogating him strictly. He reportedly told the police that his live-in partner, who is a nurse by profession identified as Sonam Yadav, and they both had a dispute over a WhatsApp chat. He lost his temper following that and killed her.
Sonam was a nurse and a resident of Etawah in Uttar Pradesh. When she was pursuing her nurse course, she became friends with the doctor. Sanjeev, along with his friends, runs a hospital called Rudraksh Hospital. He was also reported to have been wanted in the Vyapam case. Sonam was a regular visitor at Sanjeev's clinic.
The people living there said that the doctor used to bring several women to his room. He had befriended Sonam when she was training as a nurse at Rudraksh Hospital. She allegedly saw an obscene chat of the doctor with another girl on his phone, following which they got into a fight, reports the Free Press Journal.
The police arrested the accused doctor, following which they informed the family members of the deceased nurse about the incident.
