Husband arrested for Nashik doctor's murder
Nashik: Over a week after the charred body of a woman doctor was found in her car here, Nashik city police on Thursday arrested her husband for alleged murder.
Sandeep Vaje, the husband of Dr. Suvarna Vaje, was arrested after questioning, said a police official.
The body of Dr. Suvarna Waje found in a burnt condition near Raigad Nagar on Vilholi Mumbai Agra highway near Villoli has been identified as that of missing Dr. Suvarna Waje. Dr. Waje has been killed in a family dispute. He said there had been family disputes in Dr. Waje's house for the past several years. Entries have also been made in several places of this controversy. This is the reason why this incident has taken place. After receiving the DNA report on Wednesday (yesterday), the police had started a thorough investigation. Dr. Sandeep Waje was interrogated for a long time yesterday.

It was suspected that the dead woman was Dr Suvarna Sandeep Vaje (38) who worked at a civic hospital and who had gone missing earlier that evening. DNA analysis later confirmed the identity. The relations between the couple were strained for the last many years, said superintendent of police Sachin Patil, adding that further probe about the motive was underway.
She had even left work at night. Meanwhile, a skeleton was found in a four-wheeler on the side of the road near Raigadnagar within the limits of Wadivarhe Police Station. As it was late at night, husband Sandeep Waje questioned the relatives. But when she did not return, he reported his wife missing to the Ambad Police Station at midnight . With the help of the chassis number, the police clarified that the burnt car belonged to Waje. CCTV footage and the location of the mobile were being tracked on the way to the spot where Dr. Waje's vehicle was found. After getting CCTV footage of the road leading to Wadiwarhe along with CCTV from State Bank of CIDCA and other different areas, The location of Dr. Suvarna's mobile was technically analyzed.
