Doctor Alleged Failure to pay Rs 20 lakh rent, expelled by administration
Indore: A doctor has been allegedly removed from his rented house after he failed to pay the due rent of Rs 20 lakh. The house owner took help from the district administration to vacate the house.
It came to the fore that the doctor was allegedly denying to leave the house and also refused to pay the rent for several months. The house belongs to a senior citizen named Bhagwati Bai who is also a widow. The house is located in the Bholaram Ustad Marg area.
She alleged that the doctor identified as Dr Anil Ghai rented her house to run his clinic but stopped paying the rent after paying for a few months. According to her, he also mistreated her ever after not paying the rent.

Feeling helpless, she approached the district collector Manish Singh and went to the public hearing held by the collector. After listening to her side, the collector informed the Bhanwarkuwan police.
A complaint was lodged against the doctor and later the police registered the case under the Rent Control Act and an investigation is underway. In response to the order being passed, the doctor went to the high court demanding the order to be revoked but the court did not accept the doctor's plea.

SDM Ansul Khare told the free press journal that the district administration acted based on the order and removed the doctor from the house. Now, Bhagwati has got her house back from the tenant.
Medical Dialogues team had earlier published that the police have arrested the director of a private hospital and his associate in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal for allegedly swindling lakhs of rupees under the Ayushman Bharat scheme meant to provide healthcare to the poor, an official said.
According to the police, the accused, with the help of middlemen, allegedly got patients admitted to the hospital and inflated their bills for false claims.
