Kashmiri 3rd year MBBS student dies in Bangladesh
Srinagar: In an unfortunate incident, a MBBS student from Anantnag district studying in Bangladesh died after falling from the roof of her hostel building. Her family has appealed to the authorities to help them bring her body back home.
The deceased's family members received the information from the institution in Bangladesh. She was a third-year MBBS student named Khusboo Manzoor, pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Khwaja Younis Ali Medical College in Bangladesh.
She was immediately rushed to the ICU for treatment. Later, she died during the treatment. The family members, residents of Katoo village of Bijbehara in Anantnag district,, appealed to the central government several times to help them bring her body back home, Kashmir life reports.

However, the reason behind her death is yet unknown. The family members are still unaware as to why her daughter took the extreme step. No official report has been presented explaining the case in detail.
On receiving the heartbreaking news of her daughter, the parents began mourning for her and also appealed to the Ministry of External Affairs in this regard, urging them to bring back the body of her daughter in order to complete her last rites in the village.
Meanwhile, it is now unclear whether the incident is a case of suicide or murder as there are no reports of her leaving a suicide note behind before the incident. It was revealed that the incident happened in suspicious circumstances.
