Rajkot: Three assailants have been arrested by the police who allegedly assaulted a doctor in Madhuram Hospital situated on the 80-foot road late on Wednesday night for requesting them to leave the patient's room.
The victim is Dr. Mohit Sagpariya, 28, a resident of the city's Master Society. The trio has been identified as Dashrat Bhatti, Mahipatsinh Chauhan, and Pratapsinh Bhatti, all residents of Lapasari village adjoining Rajkot city.
The incident took place when the trio brought a man named Velsinh Ladu who was bitten by a snake for treatment at the hospital. The doctor visited the patient's room at 10 pm and was stunned to see nearly 10-15 people sitting in the room including the patient's relatives and family members.
