Medical Dialogues had previously reported that a medical superintendent at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Kanas has come under scrutiny after allegedly making inappropriate remarks, proposing to a female AYUSH doctor, and offering her a promotion in exchange for a "one-night stand", officials said. The woman doctor reportedly rejected his proposal and approached the police and filed a complaint against him at the Airfield Police Station. Based on the complaint, the police registered an FIR and arrested the accused under the relevant BNS sections. According to news reports, the incident took place when the woman doctor was returning home on her scooter after completing her duty.
