Mangaluru Dentist dies during sleep after complaints of severe headache
Mangaluru: After suffering from a severe headache, a 24-year-old dentist unfortunately passed away during her sleep at a PG accommodation in Pandeshwar, Mangaluru on Monday night.
The dentist suffered from a severe headache during a phone conversation with her parents. Unable to bear the pain, she ended the call and decided to sleep. Tragically, she was discovered lifeless the following day.
The deceased has been identified as Dr Swati Shetty, the daughter of Jyothi Shetty and Ramanna Shetty Alvarabettu.

As per the Daijiworld news report, she opted to stay at a Paying guest accommodation overnight after leaving her home on Monday evening. Dr Shetty was ready to join her duties at a Pandeshwar clinic on Tuesday after recently completing her dentistry training at AJ Hospital in Mangaluru. However, her life was cut short abruptly.
The unfortunate incident occurred when she was talking with her parents on call. During their conversation, Shetty complained of a severe headache and that she was feeling discomfort. Due to the extreme pain, she was forced to disconnect her call with them and went to sleep.
The next day, her roommate chose not to wake her up because she had a headache the night before. However, her passing was discovered when the supervisor noticed that her body was cold. She was immediately rushed to the Wenlock Hospital where the doctors declared her dead upon arrival.
According to the Daily, Dr Shetty had no history of ailments and it is unclear what could be the reason behind the headache which took her life overnight. And she was about to get married before the end of the year.
The deceased is survived by her parents and a brother.
