Regardless of having two children, the woman took the step not thinking about the consequences of her action. After regaining consciousness at the hospital, she lodged a complaint against the compounder for sexually assaulting her at the Tila Jamalpura police station and an FIR was registered under Section 375 in the Indian Penal code on Thursday night.
Previously, the Tila Jamalpur police referred the case to the Gautam Nagar police station. Gautam Nagar police station refused to take the case as the area of the woman does not fall under their jurisdiction. However, the Tila Jamalpur police then took the case and recorded her statement.
