Noida: 29-Year-old Woman dies of wrong Jab, Quack and 1 arrested

Greater Noida: In an unfortunate incident, a 29-year-old woman died during treatment as she was allegedly given the wrong injection. Police arrested two people responsible for this. The incident took place in the Jewar town of Greater Noida.

The deceased has been identified as Rekha, who was taken to a doctor named Rajendra for treatment on March 31. As per the statement of her family members, Rajendra and his compounder injected her with the wrong injection. As a result, her health condition was getting worse.

Soon, the family members took Rekha to Kailash Hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. After the death of the woman, her relatives blocked the road in Jewar for the arrest of the quack doctor.

India Today reports that a complaint of medical negligence was filed at the Jewar police station, and the doctor was arrested immediately.

An investigation was launched by police after the victim's family raised concerns, the clinic of the doctor was closed and police arrested the duo. Further investigations are underway. and Health Department is also taking action in this matter.

Medical Dialogues team earlier had reported on a similar case where the husband filed a complaint that a patient that she was allegedly sterilized when visited for the abortion, the Divisional Railway Hospital in Agra is now under the scrutiny of the government authorities.

After the filing of the complaint, a three-member committee was formed by the Agra division railway administration to probe the matter further.
