Noida Psychiatrist takes obscene photos of girls during treatment, arrested
Noida: In a shocking incident, a Noida-based psychiatrist has been arrested in connection with allegations that he allegedly took obscene photos of girls during their treatment and later threatened them to keep the matter confidential.
According to the police, the doctor runs a clinic in Noida where he treats mentally ill girls. During the treatment, the doctor allegedly captured obscene pictures of many girls on his phone and stored them on his computer.
Just like other cases, the doctor a few days ago, applied the modus operandi with a girl during her treatment at the clinic. When the girl's family became suspicious, they confronted the doctor regarding the matter.

Denying the accusations, the doctor tried to hush up the matter by blackmailing the girl's family, but they filed a complaint at the police station against the doctor.
Following this, a case was registered against the doctor under sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and he was taken into police custody, reports India Today.
After interrogating the doctor, the police revealed that the accused had not made the obscene content viral or uploaded it anywhere.
It has emerged that the doctor usually conducts online consultations. However, he occasionally invited patients to his clinic for in-person examinations. It was during these visits that he allegedly took obscene photographs of several girls.
The Kotwali police are conducting a forensic examination of the desktop, laptop and mobile of the arrested doctor. Police are also trying to recover the data so that it can be known whether the accused had taken some more photographs of other victims.
Chief Medical Officer Dr Sunil Kumar Sharma informed Amar Ujala that the matter has come to the notice through the media. The records of the concerned doctor's clinic will be searched. If the clinic is registered then action will be taken against the doctor as per the rules.
