Renowned Ayurveda Physician Dr C A Raman passes away at 94

Thiruvananthapuram: In an unfortunate incident, Dr C.A. Raman, a prominent Ayurveda physician and former Director of Ayurveda in Kerala, passed away on Friday at the age of 94 at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. He succumbed to age-related ailments.
Dr Raman had a distinguished career in Ayurveda that spanned over several decades. After retiring from his official post as the Director of Ayurveda, he continued his service in the Ayurveda tourism sector as the chief physician at Somatheeram Ayurvedic Hospital and Yoga Centre.
Dr Raman has been the chief physician at Somatheeram Ayurvedic Health Resort since 1995. Since then, he has enhanced the lives of thousands of people with his knowledge by introducing them to a healthier lifestyle. As a veteran of the Ayurvedic approach, he is practically part of the family.
He was also appointed as the special officer for Folk Medical Therapy by the Kerala government, a recognition of his extensive knowledge of traditional healing practices.
