Sapthagiri Medical College PG medico alleges molestation while returning from duty

Molestation
Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a young doctor pursuing her postgraduate studies at Sapthagiri Medical College, returning home after completing her duties, was allegedly molested by an unidentified man.
Following the alleged molestation, the doctor filed a complaint against the accused at Soladevanahalli Police Station. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case and have booked the accused.

As per NDTV news report, the doctor is currently pursuing her master's at Sapthagiri Medical College after completing her MBBS.
The incident took place on December 17 at around 12.49 am when the doctor was heading to her rented accommodation after completing her hospital duty. On her way, the accused approached her on a two-wheeler and stopped near her under the pretext of asking for the location of a bus stop.
Within moments, he reportedly groped her chest and behaved inappropriately. This shocked the doctor, who then screamed for help, prompting the accused to flee on his bike.
The police are currently investigating to identify the accused and arrest him.
According to police, the accused would target women during evening hours and, if he found them walking or riding alone, would suddenly approach them, hug them tightly or touch them inappropriately, and then flee the spot on his two-wheeler, reports NDTV.
Medical Dialogues had previously reported that a 20-year-old woman, while undergoing treatment at Patna Medical College, accused a staff member of molestation during an electrocardiogram (ECG) procedure, while her family claims that hospital security personnel mistreated them when they intervened.
The incident occurred when the woman, a resident of Salimpur Ahara, visited the emergency ward of PMCH with breathing difficulties. Doctors advised her to undergo an electrocardiogram (ECG), during which she alleges that a staff member inappropriately touched her under the pretence of performing the examination.
