Unfortunate: Chennai doctor couple drowns to death during Bali honeymoon

Chennai: In a tragic incident, a doctor couple from Chennai who went on a honeymoon in Bali drowned to death just a week after their wedding.
After exchanging vows on June 1, the couple set off for Indonesia to celebrate their new life. However, both of them died tragically while they were doing a photoshoot on a speedboat, lost their balance and drowned to death.
The families of both of them were in mourning as soon as the news of the accident broke out. They immediately went to Bali to make arrangements to bring the couple's body to their motherland.

While the male doctor's body was found on Friday, the female doctor's body was found on Saturday morning. Although the Indonesian police are investigating the case, it is unknown how both of them died, reports TOI.
The family is now making arrangements to bring the bodies to Chennai. They sought help from the Tamil Nadu Government and the Central Government through the Indian Embassy in Indonesia. As there is no direct flight from Indonesia to Chennai, the bodies will be taken to Malaysia before being brought to Tamil Nadu.
The female doctor lived in Seneerkuppam near Poonamallee. She had completed her MBBS from a private institute in Coimbatore. on the other hand, the husband was a doctor in the Salem district.
