UP DGME Releases counselling Schedule, guidelines for NEET SS 2020 candidates for Assistant Professor post appointment under bond service
Puducherry- Uttar Pradesh Directorate General of Medical Education (UPDGME) has released a notice regarding the timetable and important guidelines for Compulsory Government Service for NEET SS 2020 candidates of DM and MCh batches. This pertains to the online counselling for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor who has passed the examination based on their All India Rank.
As per the notice, it states that “In view of the instructions contained in Government Order No. 950/71-2-82/2017 dated March 07, 2018 (as amended) and Government Order No. 1/475904/2024 dated January 18, 2024, the final year of NEET SS 2020 (DM/M.Ch.) batch The schedule of online counselling for the appointment of candidates who have passed the examination based on their All India Rank” is as follows:

Further, it states that if any seat of the reserved category remains vacant then the vacant seats will be filled as per the Government order regarding the policy formulation of NEET PG 2023. Then the allotment process will be completed by assimilating them as per the following table-

The following are the important guidelines for counselling-
1 For online counselling, it will be mandatory for the candidates to first register themselves by logging into the website.
2 All the eligible candidates of the NEET SS 2020 batch must register and participate in the counselling and they must fill all the options as per their priority and lock the choice.
3 Following the instructions contained in Government Order No. 1/475004/2024 dated 18 January 2024, the candidates are required to fill the vacant posts in such Government Medical Colleges/Institutes/Medical Universities of the state. where Super Specialty Departments/ Super Spedalty Blocks are operated in the PMSSY Block. On the posts of Assistant Professor allocation will be provided against category-wise vacant seats provided by the respective medical colleges/institutions and medical universities.
4 In case the post of Assistant Professor is not vacant in the super speciality departments of the Government Medical College/Institute/Medical University, the concerned candidates will be appointed to the post of Assistant Professor against the vacant posts in other super speciality departments through the common pool quota.
5 Students of DM/MCh course studying in Government Medical Colleges/Institutes/Medical Universities of the state, who are working as Senior Residents, whose annual income is more than Rs. 8.00 lakh, and who belong to Economically Weaker Category (E.W.S.) Do not fall within the scope of qualification prescribed by the Government Order. Therefore, the seats reserved for the EWS category of Assistant Professor in the DM/M.Ch course will be filled by the candidates of the unreserved category.
6 The benefit of reservation will be payable only to the reserved category candidates of Uttar Pradesh stele. The benefit of reservation will not be accessible to candidates outside the state of Uttar Pradesh.
7 All certificates related to the reservation will be valid only in the format Issued by the competent authority and prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh Government. Reservation certificates in the format prescribed by the Government of India will not be valid.
8 If the certificate related to reservation is not found relevant at the time of online verification or is not in the prescribed format, the benefit of reservation will not be provided to the concerned candidates and action will be taken to allot seats to such candidates under unreserved category.
9 Choice filling of the candidates participating in online counselling will be auto-locked after the scheduled date and time.
10 At the time of counselling or after counselling, if it is found that a candidate has obtained allotment based on misleading/forged records, then his allotment will be canceled and further action will be taken by registering a case against him under relevant sections oldie IPC.
11 The seats available for the merger will be displayed as Virtual vacancies.
