Khagaria: A video that went viral on social media, where a medical officer is seen getting a facial massage from a female community health officer in Khagaria's Primary Health Care Centre (PHC), has landed both of them in trouble.
After the video went viral, the Chief Medical Officer issued a show cause notice to both of them.
The video shows the health officer giving a massage to the doctor from behind while the latter records the video. However, when the health officer asks the doctor to not record the video, the latter refuses to do so.
A few of their personal pictures are also going viral on social media. They are reported to be married to other people and were having a relationship during duty hours, as per a media report in Odisha TV.
The medical officer, who is the PHC-in charge has disappeared since the video went viral on social media. The videos and photos are reportedly captured on different dates using the same camera.
After the video went viral, the civil surgeon took cognizance of the issue and sought answers from both professionals.
In a previous story reported by Medical Dialogues regarding another bizarre viral video, an ambulance driver had been seen offering alcohol and sharing a peg with an injured patient in his vehicle which was stopped on way to the hospital at the Cuttack-Paradip state highway. The ambulance driver is seen making pegs, of what seems to be an alcoholic beverage, for himself and the patient, while parking his vehicle on the side of a highway in the Tirtol area. The patient was being taken to a private hospital in Cuttack for treatment of his fractured leg when the incident took place.
