Industry minister Chauhan stressed the need for more collaboration between such premier institutions and added that this would increase the number of incubation centres to 14 in the state.
He said IIM Sirmour would assist new startups in strategy formulation, understanding the networking and market outreach along with other relevant support. AIIMS would provide assistance to startups for the healthcare sector.
He said that the Government of Himachal Pradesh was taking necessary steps to set up incubation centres in order to provide incubation support to startups for enhancing industrialization and generating employment opportunities.
Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported that Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu chaired a meeting with the officials of the Health Department and directed to initiate a Health Information Management System (HIMS) in a time-bound manner enabling the doctors to fetch the complete medical history of the patients from the cloud-based server, said an official statement by the CMO. According to the official statement, the HIMS would be rolled out in 56 Hospitals of the state in the initial phase.
"The HIMS would prove to be a milestone in providing seamless treatment facilities to the patients as there will be no need to carry physical copies of prescriptions and medical tests with them," said CM Sukhu.
