Death of 16-month-old baby at Ballari Hospital sparks allegations of medical negligence

Ballari: In a recent case of alleged medical negligence at Ballari Institute of Medical Sciences (BIMS), a 16-month-old baby tragically passed away after being admitted for a fever. The parents of the baby staged a protest at the hospital, demanding accountability for the loss of their child.
The baby was admitted to BIMS on Thursday after showing symptoms of fever, but according to relatives, the situation quickly worsened. According to the news reports, they claim that despite multiple requests for immediate medical attention, doctors did not respond promptly. The child was eventually admitted to the ICU. On Saturday morning, the administration confirmed that the baby had passed away. The family is now accusing the hospital staff of negligence, claiming that the delay in treatment directly contributed to the baby's death.
