Dehradun: Max Super Speciality hospital gets "Best Patient Friendly Hospital" award

Dehradun: The Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI) has recently awarded Max Super Speciality Hospital in Dehradun with the "Best Patient Friendly Hospital" 2022 award.

As a part of the AHPI's award programme, many hospitals were recognized, and Max Hospital was named the best hospital in terms of patient treatment as well as creating a friendly environment for the patients.

While speaking with TOI, Dr Sandeep Singh Tanwar, VP-operations & unit head, Max Hospital, said, "The processes and the operations of the hospital are devised keeping the needs of the patients in mind. The most important aspect is that we listen to all queries and resolve & respond to the same."

AHPI works as a "non-profit" organization and advocates with the government, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders on issues, which have bearing on enabling its members' organizations to deliver appropriate healthcare services to the community at large.

Max Healthcare Institute Limited is one of India's largest healthcare organizations. They operate 17 healthcare facilities across the NCR Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Maharashtra.

A documentation audit and assessment were performed by the AHPI team before shortlisting Max Hospital based on the preliminary evaluation.
