As per the media report in the Odisha Bytes, Majhi said, “I have assured to resolve all the problems of Dharanidhar Medical College and Hospital. I have also assured to set up a trauma care centre at the hospital. The conference will encourage us to expedite the work.”
“I emphasised the need for collective efforts to elevate Dharanidhar Medical College into a leading institution of excellence,” he said.
“I give the assurance to people of setting up a trauma care centre at the hospital,” he said, adds PTI.
Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi approved the establishment of a 500-bed trauma care centre at SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, an official statement said. The proposal in this regard was approved on Monday evening.
the trauma care centre, to be set up under 'Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana' (PMSSY) will be crucial in saving a lot of lives as accident victims can be provided with immediate treatment under one roof, said the statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office (CMO).
