Graphic Era Medical College achieves NABH 6th edition accreditation

India’s First NABH 6th Edition Medical College is in Dehradun
Dehradun: The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) has awarded its prestigious 6th edition accreditation to Graphic Era Medical College, making it the first medical college in India to meet the country’s most stringent healthcare and medical education standards.
NABH accreditation is widely recognised as the gold standard for healthcare quality and patient safety in India. Until recently, institutions were evaluated based on the 5th edition, which assessed hospitals across 500 stringent parameters. The newly introduced 6th edition, however, raises the bar further with over 600 critical criteria, covering vital aspects such as patient safety, clinical quality, modern medical education, infection control, and academic integration.
By meeting these challenging standards, Graphic Era Medical College continues to uphold its reputation for excellence and trust, proving its commitment to high standards in medical education and healthcare—not just within India, but across the global stage.
