HOSMAT Hospitals opens third facility in Bengaluru
Bengaluru: HOSMAT Hospitals on Friday announced the launch of their third hospital in Sadashivanagar here.
The facility will have seven operations theatres and it will cater to all surgical specialities with centres of excellence.
HOSMAT stands for Hospital for Orthopaedic, Sports Medicine, Arthritis and Accident Trauma.
With 3 hospitals, 7 Orthopaedic subspecialties, HOSMAT is one of the largest, and best-equipped group of Orthopaedic Hospitals in India having 550 beds and 28 modern operation theatres.
Having built a legacy of 30 years since its inception of the first hospital in Magrath Road in 1992, the hospital has treated more than 15 lakh patients from India and other countries and has been doing pioneering work in the field of orthopaedics and injuries for the last 30 years.
HOSMAT started its second hospital in January 2022 in Kaylanagar. The group has 20 top Orthopaedic consultants, modern technology which includes the latest 3rd generation automatic robotic system for joint replacement which helps in delivering excellent results, and has one of the lowest infection rates in India.
Speaking on this occasion, Dr Thomas Chandy, Chairman and Managing Director HOSMAT said, "Our team is delighted that we have three facilities in Bengaluru. Each hospital is strategically placed to ensure patients reach the hospital early when the meet with an injury. With the city growing and traffic increasing everyday patients looking for elective surgeries can now choose the HOSMAT hospital which is near to their place."
