Ludhiana: Drunk cop allegedly creates ruckus at Civil Hospital, video goes viral
Ludhiana: An intoxicated Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) recently created a ruckus at the Ludhiana Civil Hospital. The officer was allegedly drunk and the video has gone viral on social media.
The issue has become a hot shot after the ASI identified as Jarnail Singh was seen misbehaving with the people at the hospital in a drunken state.
The video of him went viral and he has been transferred to police lines.

The incident took place when the ASI who was creating a ruckus at the hospital stopped a patient in the parking lot of the civil hospital and asked him to drop him at Clock Tower, but he refused and told him that he had to go for some important work. The ASI then started misbehaving with him and checked his driving licence as well as checked other documents.
After a large crowd gathered at the spot, the locals took the ASI to the division 2 police station, where he was examined by the police.
The police said that people asked him for his name as it was not mentioned on his uniform. They said when asked about his belt number, he told police there that even the DGP cannot ask for the same.
"Not even the DGP can dare ask him his belt number," said the police.
Police officials said as the ASI was taken inside the hospital for treatment, he created ruckus there as well and allegedly abused people.
Ludhiana police commissioner Kaustubh Sharma told The Indian Express " His suspension has been recommended. He was heavily drunk as per doctors. Detailed reports are awaited."
Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported that a doctor working at the emergency ward of the District Hospital Almora in Uttarakhand allegedly treated a minor patient in a drunken condition following which officials ordered a probe.
