Madhya Pradesh announces grants for hospitals to Boost Medical Tourism

Ujjain: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav recently inaugurated the Kabra Hospital and Research Center in Badnagar, Ujjain district. During the inauguration, Yadav emphasized the supreme contribution of doctors to society, highlighting medical service as the best form of service to humanity. He encouraged all medical professionals to place kindness, compassion, and humanity at the forefront of their work, underlining the importance of these values in healthcare.
Mohan Yadav took the opportunity to announce the state government's plans to promote medical tourism in Madhya Pradesh. He revealed that the government will provide grants to private hospitals and large medical groups to bolster the state's healthcare sector. Additionally, he expressed the government’s support for initiatives promoting Ayurveda (AYUSH), including the establishment of wellness centers and naturopathy centers.
He also praised the contribution of Ayurveda and naturopathy in promoting health. He remarked that these natural methods eradicate diseases from the root, offering permanent cures. Reflecting on the success of Ayurvedic treatments during the COVID-19 pandemic, he acknowledged how Ayurvedic decoctions played a pivotal role in saving countless lives during the crisis.
The Chief Minister emphasized that nature has provided us with methods to cure diseases through natural means, reinforcing his belief in the efficacy of traditional healing practices.

According to IBC24, Saint Pandit Kamal Kishore Nagar Maharaj, MP Anil Ferozia, National Organization Minister Shiv Prakash, District In-charge Minister Gautam Tetwal, Badnagar MLA Jitendra Singh Pandya, Nagda MLA Dr. Tej Bahadur Singh, along with public representatives, hospital director Dr. Vasudev Kabra, etc, were present.
