NBE CPR Awareness Programme on December 6th, here are guidelines for all accredited hospitals
Delhi: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the details related to the cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Awareness Programme. In its notice, the NBE has issued guidelines for all accredited hospitals to comply.
NBEMS shall be organizing CPR Awareness Program on 6th December, 2023 at 09:30 A.M across the country to spread awareness and impart training to thousands of youths and non-medical personnel to administer CPR in a proper manner.
The programme will comprise a short video explaining to the participants the benefits of CPR and the methodology to administer it. Digital certificates of participation shall be issued to all participants by NBEMS.
All NBEMS Accredited Hospitals are requested to comply with the following –
To compulsorily participate in the NBEMS CPR Awareness Programme. All non-medical staff and NBEMS trainees may be asked to participate in the programme. There should be at least a hundred participants from each accredited hospital. Confirmation of participation is to be sent to email id: nbefaculty@natboard.edu.in along with the contact details of the nodal person who will coordinate with NBEMS.
The Google form whose link is mentioned in the notice below needs to be used for providing the contact details of the nodal person. Also, provide a list of at least 2-3 doctors from each accredited hospital who will volunteer their services for this programme at other venues of the CPR Awareness Programme in the same city.
At least 3-4 photographs of organising the CPR Awareness programme by the accredited hospitals have to be uploaded on a link which will be provided in due course by NBEMS.
The hospitals may use their auditorium/lecture hall for the display of the CPR video with good audio support. The web page to access the video and further details shall be shared by NBEMS in due course.
Participation of NBEMS accredited hospitals is solicited which will allow thousands of youths to be trained in CPR. No expense in this regard shall be borne by NBEMS.
