PM Modi inaugurates Sindhu Hospital in Hyderabad

New Delhi- Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, on Sunday inaugurated Sindhu Hospital, a state-of-the-art, cancer-focused multi- super speciality facility in Hyderabad.
During the inauguration, the Prime Minister said that the hospital is a laudable effort to improve healthcare infrastructure in the city and surrounding areas. He also appreciated the emphasis on integrating the latest technology and innovation by the hospital team.
The Prime Minister posted on X, “Inaugurated the Sindhu Hospital in Hyderabad. It’s a laudable effort to improve healthcare infrastructure in the city and surrounding areas. The emphasis on integrating latest technology and innovation by the hospital team is appreciable.”
Modi interacted with Dr Bandi Parthasaradhi Reddy, Rajya Sabha member and founder‑chairman of Sindhu Hospitals and Hetero Group of Companies, and his family members. Doctors briefed him on the advanced technologies at the institution, reports Deccan Chronicle.
He appreciated the hospital team for prioritising the integration of advanced technology and innovation.
Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced that the completion of multispecialty hospitals in Warangal and the state capital will add 10,000 beds to the state public health system. During the Question Hour in the assembly, Reddy also stated that the health department is developing a website to allow non-resident Telangana doctors to register to volunteer their services to hospitals in the state when they visit home.
The CM told the House, "A new Osmania hospital is being constructed in Goshamahal (in Hyderabad) on 30 acres with a cost of Rs 3000 crores. Work on the TIMS ( Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences) hospitals is being accelerated. Additionally, 10,000 beds will be made available for patients. We are correcting the mistakes made in the past ( during the BRS regime)."
