Telangana: CHC Chennur to be upgraded to 100-bedded hospital at cost of Rs 32.15 crore
"Long awaited dream of the people has been fulfilled and the public will now be able to find better medical services with the advent of the facility", said Suman.
Hyderabad: Fulfilling the long-awaited dream of the people, the Telangana government has announced that the Chennur community health centre will be upgraded to a 100-bedded hospital at the cost of Rs 32.15 crores.
An order of this effect was issued by the state government on Tuesday evening. The existing community health centre was built on a 40-year-old primary health centre which will be now upgraded to a 100-bedded hospital. The residents of Chennur, Jaipur, Kotapalli, Bheemaram, and Vemanapalli manuals will be able to get benefit from the facility once upgraded.
Expressing his gratitude, Government chief whip Balka Suman tweeted saying "Heartfelt thanks on behalf of the people of Chennur Constituency to CM Shri KCR and Minister of Medical and Health Shri T Harish Rao for sanctioning a 100-bed hospital for Chennur Constituency."

The official announcement made the local people of Chennur delighted and relieved as they were hoping for a hospital for a long time. They expressed joy over the sanction of a 100-bed government hospital in Chennuru town.
Celebrating the announcement of the hospital, a massive rally was held by the cadres of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) where the supporters thanked CM Rao for upgrading the community health centre to a 100-bedded hospital, Telangana Today reports.
The supporters started the rally from the camp office of Suman in Chennur town after bursting crackers and people from different sections of the town as well as the party members participated in the rally. The rally was carried out through several colonies and important junctions of the town.
They raised slogans thanking Chandrashekhar Rao and hailing government whip Balka Suman for working to develop the Chennur Assembly constituency.
After that, the participants performed Ksheerabhishekam to a poster of Chandrashekhar Rao. They said the Chennur segment was undergoing rapid growth with roads, bridges, schools and healthcare infrastructure being developed in the last four years.
