Viral Video: Nashik Hospital under NMC radar for serving liquor
Nashik: The Nashik Municipal Corporation has formed a one-member panel to investigate an incident after the video went viral about the liquor being served at the corporation's Zakir Hussain hospital.
As per a media report in the Times of India, the incident came to the light after a video of liquor being served in a room in the hospital went viral online.
In the video, a glass filled with alcohol kept on a table is seen in a room near the security cabin of the hospital, however, no persons are visible in the video.

Further, the video shows that the hospital staff and other people in the hospital were busy watching a documentary shooting that was taking place in the hospital.

The Medical Superintendent of NMC Dr. Bapusaheb Nangargoje said that a private company has been given permission to carry out the shooting of a documentary on condition to ensure the safety of the patients. Nangargoje said that the one-member team was set up by the civic administrator Ramesh Pawar to inquire about the truth behind the video in order to take the appropriate action against those responsible for it.
The officer told TOI, "The video will be studied to find out if the places shown in it are from the hospital. Secondly, CCTV footage of the hospital will also be inspected to figure out who all was there and who all was engaged in the act. No one will be spared." He added, "Pawar has asked the NMC additional commissioner, Karuna Dahale, to investigate the case and file the report at the earliest."
