Yashoda Hospitals Hyderabad opens clinic in Kolkata
The newly established clinic at Salt Lake, Kolkata, will focus on a range of specialities including Gastro, Neurology, Orthopedics, Urology, Oncology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, and Cardiology.
Kolkata: Yashoda Hospitals Hyderabad, one of the largest super speciality hospitals in India, launched a well-equipped clinic at Salt Lake, here, in the presence of Dr Pavan Gorukanti, Director of Yashoda Hospitals.
The clinic will open the doors to a slew of the latest world-class medical technologies and services to patients in the eastern region and Bangladesh.

"Yashoda Hospitals Hyderabad offers the best medical services for lung transplants which is yet to be available in the eastern region. During the past year we have carried out over 200 liver and 35 lung transplants and catered to patients from 45 countries across the globe providing world-class medical services by carrying out complicated surgical procedures," said Dr Pavan Gorukanti, Director, Yashoda Group of Hospitals, Hyderabad.
"Yashoda Hospitals Hyderabad is gearing up to introduce the latest MR Linac (MRI-based) technology for the first time in India. Currently, there are only 50 such installations of this technology worldwide which has a very high efficacy level with less side effects for cancer patients. Also, Yashoda Hospitals has achieved the milestone of providing Rapid Arc technology treatment to over 25,000 cancer patients which is the highest in India," said Dr Gorukanti.
He said, "The largest number of bone-marrow transplants in India has been carried out by Yashoda Hospitals along with multi-organ cadaver transplants in which we have achieved domain expertise."
The newly established clinic at Salt Lake, Kolkata, will focus on a range of specialities including Gastro, Neurology, Orthopedics, Urology, Oncology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, and Cardiology.
Apart from these services, this clinic will guide in terms of telemedicine services for all super specialities. The service includes second opinions and treatment estimates, pre-bookings, and end-to-end assistance for patients who are planning to visit Yashoda Hospitals Hyderabad for treatment.
Yashoda Hospitals has evolved as a world-class treatment centre drawing patients from over 45 countries. Currently, the Group has 40+ super speciality clinics across West Bengal and North-East which include Siliguri, Durgapur, Agartala, Guwahati, Kolkata, Cooch Behar and Birbhum.
