HSSC and AIIMS enter into MOU for upskilling medicos
Delhi: The Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the goal of improving the competencies and skills of healthcare professionals. The announcement was made on Friday by AIIMS.

The HSSC organisation has stated that AIIMS will be recognised as its Center of Excellence (CoE). It further added that this CoE will uphold the highest standards by acting as a model for leadership, best practices, research, support, and trainers with training of the highest quality.
The premier institute informed that, in partnership with HSSC, AIIMS would enable the certification of various staff ranks for reskilling and upskilling. The ultimate aim of this effort is to improve the patient experience through cutting-edge training programs.
HSSC will provide specialised training to AIIMS master trainers, who will then go on to educate other staff members. Following the training sessions, candidates will take a thorough exam after the completion of the course. If they pass, they will receive skill certifications from HSSC.
Dr. Rima Dada, Professor in charge of the Media Cell, mentioned that this collaboration between AIIMS and HSSC is an important and necessary step towards ensuring that medical professionals are equipped with new skills and knowledge, which will ultimately improve patient care and elevate the standards of the healthcare sector.
