Gujarat: State IMA asks lawyers not to defend duo who attacked doctors

Vadodara: In a letter to Baroda Bar Association, the Vadodara chapter of Indian Medical Association (IMA) has asked not to take up the cases of two persons who were responsible for assaulting a doctor associated with a private hospital in the city.
As per a recent media report in Times of India, the two accused, Vishal Kahar and Akash Kahar have been constantly harassing Dr Yuvraj Sisodiya and Dr Arpit Panchal since the last four days. One of the relatives of the attackers was admitted to the hospital who was taken care of by the two doctors.

Following repeated verbal altercations with the doctor, the duo physically assaulted Dr Sisodiya due to which his eyes were badly injured, reports Times of India. The Warasia police arrested the two, Vishal and Akash on Friday.
Meanwhile, the president of IMA's Vadodara chapter Dr Mitesh Shah requested the lawyers to support the doctor and not to defend the duo in the court.
