DNB Counselling 2020: NBE clarifies on uploading of compulsory documents
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has clarified regarding the uploading of documents on the DNB online counselling 2020 for admissions to DNB Post MBBS and DNB Post Diploma courses this academic session.
Candidates who are appearing for DNB counselling are requested to view the below-mentioned details of the said notice as uploaded on the official website of NBE.
1. Kindly refer to Para 9 Page no. 22 of the Handbook of DNB (Post MBBS) 2020 admission session online counseling, regarding uploading the following documents which are mandatory to upload during the registration window.
a. MBBS Degree (For candidates who have obtained their MBBS qualification in 2019, but have not been issued their MBBS Degree, their Provisional Pass Certificate.)
b Permanent/Provisional Registration certificate issued by MCI/State Medical Council for registration of MBBS qualification.
c. Internship Completion Certificate (internship completion date must be on or before 31st March 2020).
2. It has been noticed that several candidates are unable to upload these documents as the colleges, Universities & Medical Councils are closed/not fully functional due to the COVID 19 pandemic and such certificates have not been issued to him/her so far.
3. To enable such candidates to proceed with online registration for which mandatory uploading of documents is required; they are instructed to upload the following documents.
9a. Undertaking to submit MBBS Degree/Provisional Pass Certificate at the time of joining the allotted Institute and at the time of Final ( Mop-up) Round of Counseling, if participating in the same, failing which his/her candidature shall be canceled
9b. Undertaking to submit Permanent/Provisional Registration certificate at the time of joining the allotted Institute and at the time of Final ( Mop-up) Round of Counseling, if participating in the same, failing which his/her candidature shall be canceled
9c. Undertaking to submit an Internship Completion Certificate (internship completion date must be on or before 31st March 2020). at the time of joining the allotted Institute and at the time of Final ( Mop-up) Round of Counseling, if participating in the same, failing which his/her candidature shall be canceled.

With the registration for this year's DNB counselling now on, there are a total of 4,925 seats available for candidates seeking admissions to DNB courses this academic session. Out of 4,925, 3,069 are vacant for DNB Post MBBS and 1,856 are available for DNB Post Diploma candidates.
Looking from the states' standpoint, the maximum DNB seats are reported to be in Delhi followed by Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
